Travel and Lodging Details:
AGM Host Hotel:
A limited block of discounted rooms has been reserved at The Sheraton Four Points, Ventura Harbor Resort,
which is about 4 miles or ten minutes drive from the Ventura County Fairgrounds, site of the Games.
Room rate for the block of rooms is $121 per night plus a small daily parking fee if you have a car, normally it would be $189.
Block will expire 30 days beforehand, which is September 12, 2017. As of June 12, 2017, about 25% of our allocation has been taken, so please don't delay in order to get the lowest cost. To reserve, call (866) 716-8133 toll-free. Request the Clan MacLaren block. Any problems please ask for Sara Coppola, the Sales Manager, and she will help.
Airports:
Burbank/ Bob Hope (BUR) is the closest to Ventura, easy to negotiate and provides both rental car access and local rail service to Ventura
Los Angeles International (LAX)
Rail:
For the more adventurous, Amtrak services Ventura from both LA and San Francisco. The station is across from the county fairgrounds and if you contact the Sheraton, they will send a shuttle to pick you up.

CMSNA AGM Itinerary:
Friday October 13
CMSNA Council Meeting held at a meeting room at the Sheraton 4 points, starting at 9 AM, open to all interested members.
This hotel is also the location for the Friday night "A Scottish Evening" event at 6:30 PM which involves a buffet Dinner and entertainment. Preceding it at 5 PM will be a Whisky tasting where you can buy drink tickets to sample a number of fine whiskys.
Saturday October 14
Games Activities
Opening ceremonies begin at noon with a clan march followed by pipe bands and the Marine band.
The AGM business meeting and election will be held at 2 pm on Saturday in a meeting room near the whiskey tasting pavilion, which should provide a good attendance incentive!
The Clan Chief's Dinner on Saturday night will be at the top of the nearby Crowne Plaza top floor ballroom with 180-degree views of the coastal range and ocean.
Chief Donald as well as the chief of Clan Morrison will be the honored guests. Seaside will reserve tables to seat all CMSNA members together.
The Marine band will be the featured entertainment. This event is a Seaside games event open to all clans and will be in lieu of our usual Saturday night AGM banquet.
There is not a reserved block of tickets for CMSNA, so it is imperative that you purchase them ASAP in order to attend this unique event.
